Behind Zap Studios is a small, dedicated team with a shared passion for photography, film and creative production. Founded in 2016 by photographer and director Simon Webb, Zap Studios was created as a welcoming and versatile space where photographers, filmmakers and creative teams could come together and bring their ideas to life.

SIMON WEBB - FOUNDER & PHOTOGRAPHER

Simon is a London-based photographer and director with over two decades of experience working across portraiture, advertising and campaigns for film, television, music and sport.

Having established Simon Webb Photography in 2001, he went on to found Zap Studios in 2016, drawing on his experience behind the camera to create a practical and inspiring environment for creative productions.

His collection of neon signs, vintage film posters and Americana gives the studio its distinctive character and personal touch.

VENETIA WILLIAMS - STUDIO MANAGER

With a background in fashion design and creative production, Venetia oversees the day-to-day running of Zap Studios, from studio bookings and client communications to equipment coordination and shoot logistics.

Working closely with photographers, producers and creative teams, she helps ensure productions run smoothly, creating an organised and welcoming environment from the initial enquiry through to the shoot itself.

TOMMY THE WONDER DOG - OUR STUDIO DOG

Tommy is Zap Studios' resident rescue dog and a much-loved member of the team. His responsibilities include greeting visitors, supervising lunch breaks and ensuring no biscuits go unaccounted for. While he's yet to master a lighting setup or answer a booking enquiry, he takes his role as Head of Studio Morale very seriously.
